THE O'FLYNN FOUNDATION
Mike is a proud father, partner and community man who strives to make a positive difference to his life and to his community every day of his life.
Over a 20-year period Mike has raised over £300,000 for charity, created community groups to help improve people's lives both physically and mentally and his greatest achievement was creating a group of special schools across the country to help children with additional needs like himself.
Mikes journey wasn't always full of positivity, he couldn't read and write properly at the age of 16, he had no positive male role model in his life and was on a negative path.
After finding education, sport & exercise he realised he had a passion to help others, this stemmed from him not feeling supported as a child and always striving to be accepted and loved.
After retiring from the world of education, Mike is now a proud mental health ambassador and inspirational speaker who sends positive messages to the world daily.
He travels the country working with schools and businesses to help as many people as possible to live their happiest life. Improving their mindset and inspiring the champion inside of them as he believes there is a champion inside all of us.
Mike now has one mission and it's to: "Make the world a better place and inspire people to live their best life"
The Trustees of the O’Flynn Foundation are delighted to have Mike as our Ambassador, giving much inspiration to our work alongside helping those in our community the opportunity to enhance their self-worth and well-being.
'Make the world a better place and inspire people to live their best life'.
